Arai Te Uru Kōkiri Training Centre (Kōkiri) offers a range of of services and courses to help you learn, grow and thrive. We're based in South Dunedin, and our doors are open to everyone.

Explore our core services - many fully-funded (free) -  that provide support through a range of situations that life can throw at us. From getting ready for a job, to learning skills to improve hauora (health) and nutrition for your whānau. From getting you through a crisis, to helping you achieve goals and aspirations.

Employment Navigation Services

Are you about to embark on a journey in study, or ready to step out into the world of employment? This service helps equip you for your next steps in your employment or study journey. We're here to provide assistance, planning and work out the next steps to your employment aspirations.

LEARN

Certificate in Whānau Ora (Level 3)

Open to all, this NZQA qualification is for people who wish to work with Māori and whānau in the development of a whānau-centred approach to support hauora and wellbeing. Graduating could be the start of a great career in support work or give you knowledge and skills to support your own whānau.

Whānau Ora Navigation Services

This service is for anyone who needs support getting through a current situation. Based on te whare tapa whā, this personalised service meets you where you’re at and navigate support and services that are available. We’re here to lift your wairua and journey with you.

Health and wellbeing are the foundation to a life well-lived. Hauora is a Māori view of health, unique to Aotearoa, and covers the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs.
